★★☆☆☆
I liked this but am deleting from my library because of the overuseage of the 'f' word.
I immediately bought the second book after finishing the Gauguin Connection. And almost purchased the third but decided to wait until reading this one.
It was interesting getting to know the other characters better and seeing how they related to Genevieve and her 'differentness.' I liked them all! BUT, whereas in the first book the language seemed confined to just a couple of characters, in this book it felt like every character, except Genevieve and Philip, used offensive language. Not just as an expletive in moments of stress, but in their greetings and routine conversations. I am not a stuffy person, but most people I am around on a daily basis do not feel they need to express themselves in such a poor, unimaginative manner. I will not read any more in this series, and would not recommend it to any of my friends.
