Had it since April. Died to rain outdoors in October.
Its supposed to be outdoor, but apparently it doesn't have proper waterproofing on the inside -> if you get some unlucky winds etc, and water gets up in the socket (you're supposed to hang this facing down btw), then kiss the entire thing goodbye. Even after I dried it out, the control board must be fried. Doesnt work at all anymore. I understand not being able to waterproof the contacts for the plugs themselves, but the control board? That thing should be fully submersible. I have pasta timers that cost less than this and can sit in a pot of boiling water with electronics in them - figure it out TP-Link. Downgraded to 1 star because support told me to buy a new one. Yeah how bout no, don’t sell outdoor stuff that gets permanently destroyed by a little moisture.
