I bought these to replace the pair I THOUGHT I'd lost, and had nothing to compare them to. When they first arrived. I thought they were perfect. I didn't need to use them much but I noticed very quickly they were behaving like my cheaper pairs of tweezers - hair was slipping through, the grip wasn't right, etc. Recently I found my lost pair and did a bit of comparison. These are NOT regular Tweezerman tweezers! My original one (purchased at Ulta) can be seen at the top, which work perfect even after two years. The bottom pair are the ones I received from Amazon. Very noticeable difference. They just flat out don't work. I'd say go to Ulta and find a pair that will do the job.
