First, let me say I very much enjoyed "The Orphan Trains" trilogy, I read them all. That said, I found the writing juvenile, repetitious, and a bit syrupy, almost as though written by a high school student. This author doesn't seem to know the difference or correct usage of the words being and take, a pet peeve of mine. Also, a most glaring grammatical error when writing about one not being pressurised by another as opposed to being pressured. Please check your dictionary. For these reasons I rate this review between a two and a half and three stars. I sincerely appreciate the author's talent as a writer and that there were no explicit sex scenes or filthy language.
