I am so disappointed!!! :( My husband and I assembled this house tonight for a santa present for our daughter. The pieces do not fit together correctly AT ALL! The middle floor wall is too short and literally just falls into or out of the house. We were able to put some toothpicks in the track and used wood glue to make it work for Christmas morning, but this is a total let down to us. We have purchased a lot of kidkraft items in the past, and I was really excited to have found this doll house manufactured by them because I "knew" they were a great company. I was literally in tears assembling this and realizing that this was not going to be the wow gift after all. I read some other reviews that were posted within a few days of mine and it sounds like there are many similar problems being experienced by other people; this makes me very disappointed as it seems to be a quality control issue and not an "oops, I got the one and only messed up house". After this experience, I don't know that I will trust kidkraft again. I believe my money could be better spent somewhere else. My recommendation is to either save your money or buy a different brand. I wish I would have purchased the Janod or Hape house instead.
