March 22,2019 Two updates ago, the developers decided to introduce a new main character on Berk, which would be great, except they decided to make this character (Light Fury) only available to the Dragon Riders (a ridiculously expensive subscription). I've been playing this game for years. The rest of the main characters have been either free (basic game), unlockable through an item collection, or available for purchase through a one-time, reasonable fee of runes (the games premium currency). I think it is crazy for app game developers to be so arrogant that they think this game is worth twice as much as a console MMO. Denying loyal, long-term players the opportunity to obtain this dragon by another, more reasonable, and historically more consistent method is an insult. I have given the developers 2 game updates to rectify this issue. I have not spent any money on this game since the problem arose. I hope they realize they are alienating their players. It is with much sadness, after 5 years, I am deleting this game.
