I paid for this unit out of my pocket. I did not receive this product in exchange for my review. I've purchased other Miele vacuums in the past. I pretty disappointed in the floor brush that comes with this vacuum. Miele states that is good for low pile carpets and rugs, however it drags across low pile carpets and rugs. It is tiresome to use because of the effort you have to exert pushing and dragging it across carpet. It's not overly effective which when trying to removing crumbs or anything from the carpet. It's too much work! It works great on my tile and hardwood floors. I have no complaints with the suction power. My other Mieles have all had handles on the suction wand and this one doesn't, making it uncomfortable to grip. It's only 2 months old. When I look at other C3s on Amazon, they have handles. I'm already feeling no love for this Miele. It's sad, because up until this point, I've been a fan for many years. I'd like to return this and pay the difference to get a unit with a handle and the ability to use the Electro Power head....which you cannot with this unit. It's a $700 vacuum that has fewer features than most $300 vacuums :(
