I've been interested in checking out Fire tablets for some time. Seems they had a good reputation. Fell far short of expectations. I bought this to use mostly as a music player & e-reader. I knew Fire was built off of Android, so I figured I'd be able to use most or all of the same apps I use on my Android phone & tablet. Nope, that wasn't happening. A lot of the apps I would have been using are not available, broken or only have paid version available when free version is available on Android OS. Fire is a broken regurgitation of the Android OS. I'm glad to finally have tried it. I should have wasted the money on their weakest HD 7 tablet though. HD 10 64gb was a large lump sum waste of money.
