I ordered a gorgeous leather book with a beautiful blue stone set on the front. I received a crummy leather-ish book with a not-so-pretty blue-ish stone set on the front. The book is so very small. Much, much smaller than anticipated and I expected it to be smaller than a normal notebook. The leather is so thin and fragile feeling and the pages are marked up and bound so loosely I am quite certain if I shook it too hard they would fall out. The design that was stamped on the leather is so faint it can barely be seen in some places. And in some places there is even visible damage. I was so excited for this book. I watched the mail for more than two weeks in anticipation of it. As it sits, I am hoping to return this book. I am deeply saddened because this was supposed to be used as a journal for spiritual purposes and is now nothing more than a disappointment. I give it one star merely because I can give it nothing lower.
