I have used personal wipes for several years now, and Cottonelle wipes for at least 3. I have always liked their functionality, minimal scent, portable options, and the unobtrusive/almost attractive dispensers. (I even keep them at work! Try taking them hiking/camping for mini-"wipe baths" on the go!) My refill pack from previous is running low, and so I picked up these so as to ensure no gap in wipe-availability in my home. I was apprehensive about the recent reviews but have had such long-time success with these products that I thought I would try it out. I am not sure when the change occurred, but you can see in the photos that the wipes are clearly different than the ones I have remaining from my refill purchase about a year ago. The ones with the wavy border are what I received in my new order. I have the same problem other recent reviewers have noticed: the wipes don't seem to work within the dispenser very well. In other words, after I load the first wipe, when I use it, no wipe reappears. I have to re-load it. Every. Infuriating. Time. Literally, I tested it by pulling out about 10-12 wipes, and there was not a SINGLE time that it self-loaded. I even watched them pull through, and the following wipe doesn't even come close. In some cases, the loaded wipe comes out without ever budging the wipe behind it (see photo example). In other cases, it tugs it briefly at it but then the 2nd wipe doesn't even make it anywhere near the opening. Now, the wipes, once dispensed, seem to work fine. Although it feels (and looks) thinner than its former version, I haven't had any increased issues with tearing through or similar thus far. But, when the wipe has to be fished out EVERY SINGLE USE, what, really, is the point?! I will await a change for the better, and if it doesn't come before my previous refills run out, I am afraid I will have to switch back to baby products for lack of a better adult solution (I used to use Pampers baby wipes, but they come in a larger and less attractive dispenser). And, Cottonelle, before you leave your "helpful" comment that you would like to discuss the issue further: I am only interested in receiving communication indicating that you are sending me a free shipment of newer and now-functional wipes to test out. I have done my troubleshooting as above and I will not waste time on this now-inferior product until you send me a better version to, hopefully, recapture my business. But I earnestly hope for that time!
