Huge disappointment. Last KA book I will ever read. I am done.
This is the first review I have ever written. I have read almost all of KA’s books. I am a huge fan of most of her series, including chaos until this book. I just feel like I’ve been ripped off by the last few books she has written and I need to say how I feel about it. This book was crap. I don’t understand all the blind KA readers that think everything she writes is awesome. If anybody else had written this junk, it would have been ripped to shreds in the reviews. I agree with all of the previous reviews that mention too many POVs and not enough time devoted to the supposed main characters of this story. There was so much time wasted on characters and details that did not matter, but I think the thing that makes me the maddest is the honey series characters hijacking about 80% of this book. KA did such a good job with warning readers about the content of the honey series. I had a lot of respect for her doing that. She wanted to try something new, but she knew it wasn’t everyone’s cup of tea. There is so much m/m and dom/sub content in this book, it is unreal. And there was absolutely no warning that I saw before or after I purchased this book. I can’t help but shake the feeling that KA’s honey series sales were not great so she thinks she can throw these characters in another more mainstream series and make people want to read about them. I feel cheated and ripped off. I don’t even know how I finished this book. I don’t know how the hell we got here from tab and shy’s story at the beginning of this series. I think KA used to write great books, but now she just writes crap because she knows so many people will buy it as long as her name is on it. Well, not this person. Not anymore. I am done.
