The plastic around the lightning connector is very thick. It's much thicker than other chargers I have (both Apple-branded and from other manufacturers), so I have a VERY hard time keeping my phone plugged in with my case on. If the phone moves slightly, the charger becomes disconnected. It's actually pretty frustrating. I've had no issues with my case with an official Apple charger, my car charger, or any other chargers I have at home (including another Amazon Basics one). I don't really think it's worth it to return it, plus I threw the box away, so I'll just begrudgingly keep it despite it being inferior to every other charger I own.
