This book was alright, but it's missing a lot of details. The first big one I noticed was on potty training, they jumped right to walking your dog outside, but (as most people already know thankfully) you cannot walk your dog outside in a public place where other dogs might have gone to the bathroom until they're fully vaccinated. I happen to live in a complex where my yard is shared, so this entire chapter was useless to me. I ended up buying a little turf potty pad for my deck instead, but I had to research elsewhere to find this. In general I found the book had a lot of moments like this where they skipped over crucial parts or details, and once I finished it I still felt like I didn't have a full picture of training. Instead, I would highly recommend joining Reddit's puppy101 channel, and watching YouTube videos from Zak George and Simpawtico. These have all been very helpful and have way more material than this entire book.
