Accidently purchased this stuff instead of the normal Purina I buy for my cat since it now comes in the same teal colored bag. Big mistake. About a week after introducing this Iams food, my cat became incredibly ill with vomiting and loose stools. It became progressively worse over the following day, and I ended up having to rush her to the emergency vet. Determined cause of illness? Gastroenteritis caused by the food as it’s the only thing she eats. One $220 vet bill later, my cat is healthy and acting normal again. Will never buy this garbage again, should be recalled as it’s unsafe. Once I did my research, there have been numerous complaints about this same thing happening to other cat owners who use the same food. Save yourself and your kitty friend a lot of headache and buy another cat food!
