In my experience, it's unusual for a Melissa & Doug product to fall short of expectations, but this one is a stinker. FIRST, the spinner does not work at all. SECOND, multiple product photos -- including one on the product packaging -- show children standing as they use the fishing rods. In reality, the string on each rod is so short that kids have to sit or kneel to reach a fish on the floor. It's blatant false advertising, and a huge disappointment. The trust I've always enjoyed while purchasing Melissa & Doug products is gone. Sad.
