I did not receive attractant with my order. I used sliced ham and placed it on the "meat spikes" and a couple chunks in the catch chamber. in 2 days I had over 30 wasps inside, but you need to change the meat every couple days. In my honest opinion, instead of buying this just use some old 1 liter or 2 liter bottles. 1. Cut the top off (the cap side) and make sure you cut it below the neck (about 1/4? down the bottle) because you need to make sure the top and bottom pieces still line up. 2. Put either ham, turkey, chicken or fruit inside. do not use sugar water or you could trap honey bees. (my whole reason for buying this is to help my bees and kill off some yeller jackets) 3. Take the top part of the bottle and place the cap side inside the bottle like a funnel. 4. tape the sides up and there you go, save you $9 and your still having to use your own attractant. If you want to see pictures, let me know and ill post them if the explanation is not good enough. hope that helps you! also, make sure you take the cap off the bottle before you put it inside the bottle. :)
