These bulbs CANNOT be used outdoors! They are not water resistant. I had them in an outdoor fixture for several weeks before they started going out. When removed, you can see water inside the lens and you can hear water sloshing inside when shaking the bulb. These bulbs replaced Feit CFLs. The LEDs were more of a narrow beam spotlight as compared to the CFLs. The color temperature was higher giving a more bluish light. It was brighter than the CFLs, but that may have been due to the directed beam as opposed to the more diffused lighting. They were sort of an expensive experiment that didn't work out in my outdoor light fixtures.
