It's interesting that all the 5 star reviews Anker gets are written like this "This is the best of the USB-C products that is out for the computers. I have tested the many USB-C Anker products and the other brands and all of them not work good except for the Anker products. You can absolutely trust me, I know cause I am good with the computers." Not buying it, sorry. I will say that I do l like Anker products, but this particular product doesn't work, especially the RJ-45 jack. I've gone through 3 of these things so far and none of them have worked, well, the first one I got "worked", but my laptop wouldn't recognize it. I need to be able to run a wired connection from my laptop at work, and I can't seem to find a device that will do that properly. When I plug in one of these multifunction devices, that has an RJ-45 jack, it seems to recognize everything else, but the RJ-45 jack, this one does the same thing. I've been working with computers since I was a little kid and I'm 38 now, I think I know what I'm doing. The transfer and receive lights don't even light up on this device when I tried plugging in multiple different types of cables, it's just dead. Oh well, time to return it and try another device.
