Been using the Sonicare for last several years, but this is the third time that the rubber backing on the brush is cracking and coming apart from the plastic body. The rubber lining at the bottom of the brush breaks, like a rubber band and then it starts coming apart on the brush. My latest brush is less than a few months old and this seems to be a recurring problem. It's an expensive product and Philips should be paying attention to this serious problem. Murphy's law - the problem happens after the warranty runs out.
