I picked THIS model specifically for its "adjustable broiler" described below. I'm a broil-aholic! THEIR words below state: "Adjustable Broil Broil at any temperature for proper browning and melting. Whether your London Broil recipe calls for a 500-degree oven or you want to delicately melt parmesan on bruschetta at a lower temperature, this Oster Digital Large Capacity Toaster Oven will produce the results you expect.". In fact, the broiler temp is NOT adjustable at all. When you click 'broil' you're allowed to set the time but not the temp. Even the user guide makes no mention of setting the temp, only the timer. This is false and misleading advertising to describe a feature on Amazon that doesn't even exist. But it gets better!! Repeated attempts to call Oster customer service yield a recording that due to volume of calls they cannot take your call, then you're hung up on. Not even allowed to leave a message. HUGE disappointment to find that the feature that swayed me to buy this oven doesn't even exist. I can't find another Oster model making this claim so I have no idea what to do other than return it to Amazon and report an inaccurate product description and keep looking.
