The internet info (both Amazon and Corel) is confusing and misleading. I love Wordperfect 12 = have used it for years I bought the x9 version specifically because it is supposed to open and edit PDF files. The Home & Student version touts "pdf functionality" BUT will not open PDF's. It only "publishes" to PDF. Well any fool can publish a WordPerfect document as a PDF by using a free printer driver such as CutePDF. Turns out you have to buy the "Standard" edition to open PDF"s. If only they made that clear on Amazon and on the Corel Website. Returned the item.
