This would be my first review on a product on any site but if felt it necessary to put out a fair warning. My mother brought home one of these tonight since she was interested in it and at the prospect of being able of getting all those channels for free. Basically the walmart employee she bought it from didn't know all the facts about it but i've never been one to install something onto my laptop without doing a little research on it.
I'm not going to bash the product for what its purpose was since i didn't even use it that far, i'll just bring up a factual point for anyone using it to consider. You have to basically make an account on the main rabbitTV website. They ask for your personal information including your SSN from what i've read in other reviews on different sites. I didn't go that far so i won't say i myself have seen it. What i did do was check their privacy policy after reading a comment in one such review. In there policy it specifically says "We may use, sell, disclose, or otherwise dispose of Personal Information we collect in the following circumstances: " and goes to list those circumstances which i will leave you interested parties to go do a reading of themselves. The point is I myself would never consent to something like that, and since we live in a time were not many people will hesitate to hit that "I Agree" button when installing something, I would highly advise that someone interested in this product would read the privacy policy of this item.
