Works fine but the warranty stinks. The plastic knob on the end of the lever flew off in pieces when my toast was ejected. This was less than three months use. When I called Cuisinart for a replacement part, I was told there are no replacement parts and they would have to send me a new one. I would have to cut the cord off my toaster, mail in to them as my expense plus another $10 for them to ship me a new one. The new one could just as well have the same part do the same thing due to poor design and I would have to bear the same expense every time. This is the first time I have purchased this brand and I will not purchase any product of theirs again due to the poor customer service.
