Windows 10 would recognize a DVD player, but you would put a DVD in the player and it would just spin and spin and spin and spin. Spent over an hour troubleshooting it via online sites and YouTube videos. Finally gave up -- life is too short for me to be wasting it on something that should simply be plug and play. Going to return. The little piece of paper that comes in the box suggests that it doesn't work best with anything other than windows 7. So now you know. If you are a windows 10 user looking for something simple, you can pass up this player (and probably many others like it sold under a different brand name or no brand at all). Buyer beware.
