So disappointed. I made my own holder just the to get the feeder 18 inches away from tree as specified in the instructions. Sadly I have one squirrel who goes upside down and does something to get seed from between the metal mesh and the inside plastic where the seed is. I assume he’s using his toungue. He doesn’t get much at a time but he stays there for hours every day and while he is the birds can’t get to the seed. Update: Company contacted me to call them. I did. They confirmed this model has a rare occurrence of squirrels figuring it out like I described. They sent me a different feeder (the legacy) at no cost. Great customer service.
