Derrick is Creatus, a super human alien (if that makes any sense) falls for an average joe human girl named Kristina, who is an alcoholic trying to escape reality because her mom was murdered in front of her when she was eight, and Derrick saved her.... She is an alcoholic, but they say several times she isn't, the family doesn't approve, but his mom loves her from the start and says they are perfect for each other. It drones on and on.... It is a mess, a big tangled up mess. There is no character development, and I see no redeeming qualities in any character. She thinks he's hot for being her dark angel, but immediately tells him to turn off the stalker ware he uses to keep tabs on her, and he says he's not controlling, but freaks out when she's unaccounted for. She knows someone is out to kill her, and she intentionally runs off to get pizza..... Something else, what is up with Victoria? She hates being called Tori or Victoria, so everyone calls her Vic. Okay, so Vic as a thing for Derrick, but their race only falls once, and she's jealous and possessive, and then it turns out he only did it with her when he was drunk (what?), but it was a relationship they tried to make work (what?).... I started skipping around 45%, and just gave up completely around 70%. I couldn't take anymore.
