Vanilla orchid obituary 7/12/14-10/19/14
Poor little Vanilla Orchid. You arrived with four green leaves,but three of them were broken in half. You were green and seemed to have roots, so I planted you anyway, and hoped that you would survive in spite of your disabilities. I rejoiced when you put out a tiny tender green tendril and hoped that you would thrive. Sadly, it was not to be, your roots rotted, and the rest of you followed suite. Your orchid companions grieve your sad demise. Your sister, Dendrobium, has put out a spray of flowers to cover the little pot containing your rotting corpse. You will be sadly missed, rest in peace.
