Either this was a scam/fake, or Minus33 has drastically changed their product. I've been ordering/using these beanie hats regularly for 4 years; previously, they were all generously sized and definitely merino wool -- very warm (though not windproof). This latest order (Nov 1, 2018), is a VAST disappointment. First, I don't believe it is Merino Wool; rather it is small and stretchy, like spandex or other synthetic-based stretchy materials. Second, I I have about a 7-5/8 head size, but this thing squeezes my head to the point of causing headaches. IT IS NOT WEARABLE FOR MORE THAN 10 MINUTES! Vastly disappointed...and if you notice in the reviews, there is a recent trend of similar reviews in Nov and Dec 2018. Is this a fake product? Has Minus 33 started substituting non-wool fabrics, but still claiming wool? I don't know the answers, but this is an inferior product. I will not be ordering again, unless Minus 33 gets some quality control into this product line.
