After last Feb 2021 Texas winter storm, plus ensuing rolling power blackouts, lesson learnt: Battery backup (about 8-12hr) for critical communication devices (router, PC, cellphone), since we work from home (WFH). So we purchased 2: (1) Jackery Explorer 240 (240Wh) (2) DBPower BS200A (250Wh-1). Almost similar specs, if you believe what is written. Reason for buying DBPower is (cheap) price. reason for buying Jackery is (great) reputation. We want to be absolutely certain (not what specs "claims") how much battery juice we have in storage in event another winter storm hits Texas !!! We bench tested Jackery and DBPower (sequentially) on a WFH setup, just single DELL E4310 (same laptop, battery removed) on E-Port (dock), nothing else. Powering (using 12VDC) Time (repeated x5): Jackery 11.5~12.5hr | DBPower 10~6.5hr | Jackery performance is very consistent | But DBPower gradually worsens from 10hr (1st test) down to 6.5hr (5th test). Charging (0->100% w/ supplied AC adapter) Time (repeated x5): Jackery 8hr (consistent) | DBPower 9~12hr (varies). Conclusion: We got what we paid for (cheap price, cheap quality). So we returned-refunded DBPower. But Amazon is best in class for customer service !!! Then we re-purchased a 2nd Jackery Explorer 240 (from Amazon of course), as backup (to backup) !!!
