New waistband is awful
I've ordered this style for a few years now and have loved them: they're slimming and fit very comfortably, with a wide waistband that lies flat and doesn't dig. The style of the two pairs I recently ordered has been altered significantly, and not in a good way: the pants now have a really tight, 3/4-inch-wide strip of elastic at the top of the waistband. This digs into my skin, is really uncomfortable, and produces a "muffin top" effect. I'm really disappointed in the "update" and won't be ordering these again.
