First let me say… while I was in the market for one… knew nothing about this particular item prior to. It came up as a flash deal of the day with a large number of positive reviews. Sadly this is not one of them. Booster was installed on 2nd floor… open landing area directly above the router. The router sits on a desk located in an open area as well It’s purpose was to boost signal to my bedroom approx. 7-10 yards away. While my signal was not the best prior to installation, signal loss happened sparingly… but enough purchase a booster. After installation, signal loss happened way more. Unplugged, relocated it to two other outlets in same area… no changes. No I did not call tech support because installation took seconds due to my routers sync button and Each time it was setup… connection! With all it’s positive reviews… maybe I just received a defective one! Returned.
