You can only do so much unless you have pearls. I'm usually willing to wait until I accumulate enough pearls, but the game designers try to force you into spending money. This weekend they have timed offer to get a special new fish by opening treasure chests. In the past day and a half, I saw one treasure chest that you could open for free. All of the others were offered at 6 pearls. Just for the heck of it, I bought one, and got a measly 535 algae (I have over 27000 algae - I don't need more right now). In the past, I have had treasure chests that were free or offered for sand dollars, which isn't bad because I can accumulate sand dollars if I keep playing long enough. Pearls take a lot longer - about 3 days - but of course you can buy them for real money. Ripoff... I have no problem for the game designers to offer things to speed up your progress if you want to pay, but when they make it impossible to progress unless you spend money, it's a money grab. Shame on Disney!
