Having used the previously purchased corded MAXROCK earbuds (that fit very well and created an almost soundproof seal) I thought I'd give these a try so I wouldn't get tangled up while I was listening to music while sleeping. The ear bud material on these appears to be slightly different than the corded MAXROCK earbuds, and would not stay in as snugly as my previous pair, not creating as soundproof a seal as the previous purchased pair. While I did see that the max battery time was 6 hours, I had the power down very low due to listening to music at night as background noise, so I thought that would extend the time a bit. I jolted awake and almost peed myself when, in the highest setting, I was alerted "L O W P O W E R" in the generally creepy android voice alert that comes with bluetooth devices. But talk about a rude awakening! Another bluetooth device I have simply shuts off without any beep or alert, allowing me to continue sleeping soundly without the music if I'm already in that state. I'd say they did last 6-7 hours, but I used them on a weekend and had planned on sleeping in and didn't expect them to alert me to their battery status. Both of those issues makes the item returnable for me. I cannot speak to the longevity or general quality of the item, as I am returning them after only one night of use. I really like them other than that issue.
