Mr. Perry I am truly saddened that you made this film. It dramatized the stereotypical myth of the angry and out of control black woman. The film was very difficult to watch from beginning to end. Ms. Henson gives a very strong and committed performance but unfortunately the material she was given in my opinion did her and all black women a disservice and yet again portrayed us as out of control and non-evolved. All of the characters featured in this movie were stereotypes. I had to force myself to watch the entire movie. I disliked the message given... When will Black women be seen as people who deserve to be loved; worthy of appreciation and not vengeful victims. If it were possible I would have given this film a poorer rating.
