I am a PhD chemist with access to laboratory equipment. I have analyzed the NMN on a Bruecker 600 Mhz NMR and there is NMN in it but not very much. Maybe 30%. There are multiple components all of them are chemically related to NMN. My suspicion is they did not adequately purify the product. I dissolved the product in D2O and ran NMR on three nucleotides Hydrogen, C13, and P31 NMR. The latter was the most definitive. I saw approximately 5 Phosphorous peaks and if it was pure there would only be one peak. Because NMR of hydrogen and C13 is a mess when you have complex mixtures I didnt learn much from those spectra except that the chemical shifts appeared in the same region that one would expect to find NMN. Thats why I think it is a Crude reaction mixtue that was bottled up as poduct. The upshot is if you ae going to put it in your body you ought to have some reasonable purity. At least 90% Incidentally I found another supplier on Amazon that was pure NMN. Look for my review. I ran NMR on it and everything looked good.
