This product just caused a terrible fire hazard. I've been using it for the past 2 years; everything has been ok until today. It was plugged into a power outlet in my room and suddenly took fire out of the blue. Fortunately, I was right there when the fire occurred and put out the fire immediately. I was told by the apartment maintenance person that the fire occurred due to a failure of the product not the power outlet. I'd recommend that those who have purchased this product stop using it immediately. I sincerely hope that nothing like this would happen to anyone else.
