If you are buying this AC because it works with Alexa, think twice. I read all the reviews and still decided to give it a try thinking maybe you had to just be a little tech savvy to make it work. My husband and I both couldn’t get the app and bluetooth connection to work after trying about 30 times. It would say connected on my Bluetooth but would never register in the app or the Alexa app. We tried everything the troubleshoot suggested. We still didn’t love the idea of returning an AC that is a pain to repackage so we have had it a couple weeks to see if it was worth keeping even without the Alexa/app function. Whether using the AC or dehumidifier, there is SO much water drainage that I have to empty the bowl we placed at the end of the tube once an hour so it doesn’t overflow. There are also no instructions on how to drain the unit but it does come with a tube. There are two units to drain from but only one tube. Even if one area is draining with the tube in place, the unit will still automatically turn off after some time saying that the water is full. I then have to switch the tube to the other drain plug which is full of water and obviously water leaks out everywhere when I switch it. I may not be doing it right but there are no instructions! It also came with a black mesh carbon filter but it doesn’t mention it anywhere in the instructions AND the window expander is very flimsy and the instructions were incorrect on what parts to attach to what. Complete disaster. One good thing was the customer service seems to be good. I requested a return and they sent over a prepaid shipping label.
