I will start by saying that I had a Ninja for about four years before I bought this one and it was amazing. I used it almost everyday and it couldn't have worked better. Due to normal wear and tear I decided it was time to buy a new one. The box claimed it was strong enough to even knead dough. Not only is this a lie, it's joke-able. All I use my ninja for is fruit smoothies and making falafel ( which is just a cooked bean patty) and this product will not work for me. It pushes the food to the sides of the blender while the blade spins in the middle without processing the food. To add insult to injury the customer service I have received has been the most frustrating experience in recent years. The advisors will lie to you and tell you what you want to hear while doing something else. Ive been told they were sending me a "stronger base" in the mail, but when I received the base not only was it the exact same one i had It didn't even work!! Then, after speaking with the next rep, she let me know you can't even use a stronger base with the same blender. I was then told I would be sent a new blade because possibly mine was damaged. When I received the blade in the mail it was some sort of plastic piece and not a blade at all. I've been told twice a supervisor wasn't available but would call me back in twenty fours hours; both times were lies. I have never heard back from a supervisor. I'm really disappointed because I loved my original ninja blender so much and can't even use the new one for basic easy things. I don't make a lot of money and the 80 dollars I spent on the blender (that I planned on using almost every day) is a big loss to me. The last advisor I spoke to told me they can't refund my money or upgrade me, that was the merchants responsibility. However, I now cannot take it back where I bought it because I waited to long thinking Ninja would fix the problem because of how willing they were to send me replacement parts. I'm not trying to get something for nothing I only want a product that will work.
