This is the reply I got from the Aspects company after contacting them regarding a total of 5 feeders that broke. Since they have a lifetime guarantee....... Thank you for taking the time to write. So sorry to hear of the problems you are having. Unfortunately, you are one of the many, many consumers we have heard from who have purchased through Amazon and are having issues. Aspects does not sell our products direct to Amazon, therefore we cannot guarantee the authenticity of the feeders they are selling under the Aspects logo, thus the poor quality. Going forward, any Birding or Lawn & Garden store (or their DIRECT webstores) would carry authentic Aspects products, of high quality, with a Lifetime Guarantee
