The reviews were basically right on. The fabric appears thin but it is sturdy, very soft but not "slippery". I have washed the sheets twice and they still retain a strange "chemical" odor. I will definitely keep and use them with hopes the odor eventually dissipates I can not comment on durability at this time as I have only had items a week. UPDATE: The odor disappeared after 1 day airing out..these are are BEST sheets I have ever slept on! Would give more stars if I could! THREE weeks later, :-( they are are still soft , odor free.. BUT after careful laundering ..no bleach, gentle detergent, they have several areas of fraying ,..doubt if they will last very long. Sad, I wish I could give better report. Can not recommend , will not purchase again.
