I gave the book two stars because the writing is good and the story interesting but I got the the 45 percent mark and quit! I had nightmares last night after reading the first scene of graphic animal abuse! When I got to ANOTHER ONE, I stopped reading before I threw up. Yes, there is way too much animal abuse in the world and I do what I can to help - I have rescued dogs. However, I read for pleasure and I will not read a book with animal abuse in it.
