What are all the rave reviews about??
I bought this after carefully reading all of the reviews. I am a 56 year old italian woman who used to make mozzarella with her grandmother and am familiar with the process. These tabs did NOT solidify the milk. I wasted 3 gallons of milk trying to get these to work. First gallon, I put in the recommended 1/4 tab. I ended up with slush. The second gallon, I put in 1/2 a tab. I ended up with a bit firmer slush. The third gallon, and believe me I should have stopped after 2 gallons, was no better than the 2nd gallon. What a waste of time and my milk. Ten dollars worth of milk down the drain...literally! How old are these things???? Refresh your stock.
