I bought this thing after watching many video's that showed it cutting a variety of wood. I turn ink pens on a wood lathe and wanted something smaller than my bandsaw. I cut a piece of 3/4X3/4" Oak it barely made it through, the same with a Walnut pen blank. Then I tried to cut a 3/4''X3/4" piece of Marblewood. No can do, first the blade that came with it burned up so I changed the blade to a Bosch blade and it could not get through it. The table bounced around even though I had it fastened down. I thought it was going to fly apart. The I tried a piece of acrylic same outcome. I'm a building contractor and I am used to working with saws and all power tools. I was very disapointed. 25 years ago Rockwell made first rate powertools. This is a disgrace to the name Rockwell....
