Valsetz can't hold up to life
Well, I have had these "boots" for 10 month of daily wear. I wanted everyone to see how they held up.
From all they hype seen on television and print ads, along with the high prices, most of us are led to assume underarmor stands for quality and performance. Nothing could be further from the truth with regard to these "boots". First, these are not boots, they are a glorified sneaker. They should in no way be confused with a real tactical boot. But, let me get two things out of the way first which accounts for the one and only star in this review.
1. These are awesome looking tactical footwear. I don't think any other tactical "boot" looks near as good.
2. They are very comfortable. You can wear them all day long with ease. Just like a comfortable sneaker.
However, the bad news is that these shoes are perhaps the worst construction I have ever experienced with regard to the style of sole they have (sneakers). I read some bad reviews about them but didn't want to believe it and bought them anyway. Back then the ratings were very poor. I have no clue how they could have gained a 4 star average rating in the past year. Something is fishy with that. I wore these every day for the most part - I work on my feet all day. After only a month of wear the soles started to separate from the upper. They have never been abused, nor dunked in water other than the occasional rain storm to get in or out of the car. I have repaired these shoes three times, first with shoe goo, then twice more with super glue. The repair just will not hold. You can see from the soles that the rubber isn't even worn hardly at all off of them. So I have given up. The pictures are worth many more thousand words here. I'll let them do the talking and serve as your warning. Needless to say, I would not even recommend this product to my worst enemy. They are just p-ss poor quality.
