The makers of this product are straight up crooks!! What an absolute piece of crap!!! Not only did I pay $19.99 for it, I bought a new faucet head and hose attachment piece because there was no way to attach it to a kitchen sink. When I finally managed to attach it and turn the faucet on, water spewed out in every direction, thoroughly soaking me and everything within 15 feet of me. I wanted it to work so badly, I draped a towel over the faucet just to direct the spraying water into the sink. Now that I had the chance to walk away from the intake end, I noticed a huge puddle of water spreading across the floor under the opposite end. I had checked it before I started to make sure the valve was closed (and it was) but it was still just flowing out freely. I turned the valve to open, then back to closed again and and it seemed to engage briefly. The hose started to "grow" for the first time, but as soon as I opened the valve and tried to water my plants, the water sprayed out with great force ripping through the plant and the hose began to immediately retract/shrink back toward the faucet. I tried to pull on it and make it stretch to the length I needed, but was unsuccessful. I ended up standing in the center of my balcony with my thumb over the spout to direct the stream of water. When I finally finished making a mess of my plants and my balcony,I tried to close the valve again and it broke off in my hand. And that was it. I hadn't even finished using it for the first time amd it was ready for the dumpster. I have never written a bad review in my life, but felt so disappointed and ripped off that I felt I had to let others know. Do not buy the stupid pocket hose! I wouldn't take another one if it were free.
