This looks like it has peat moss in it. Might be fine for some succulent species (not all), but not really for most cacti. It will hold too much water for too long and will rot your plant. Does not advertise the percentage of organic matter in the mixture. Described as having vermiculite which is NOT in this mixture. Also be warned that this is described as a potting mix for a variety of very different species, bonsai plants, house plants, succulents and cacti. I think I had a senior moment because no soil medium is that versatile. I wouldn’t recommend this soil for any succulents or cacti. Better off making your own mixture of 3 parts potting soil, 2 parts sand and 1 part perlite. I have been using that soil mixture for Years and never had any succulent with root rot. I took a chance on this because I was looking for a coarse cacti mixture for Lithops, this is definitely NOT it. Needs a better description because this is not the best starting medium for a beginner because for it to be practical it would need tweaking to make it usable, and for the price this is not worth it. You receive way too little for the amount paid. This company is majorly taking advantage of people who have a hard time finding succulent/cacti potting soil. Or who can’t drive and get it. Try my mixture and you will have success!! 3-2-1
