7/16. So beyond disappointed... Get the warranty! I LOVED this unit! For 6 weeks, I cooked chicken, steak, fries, salmon , even peaches and apples... I hate to cook, so this was an amazing way to cook for me! Then, suddenly, it no longer worked! I am soooo disappointed!! I am trying to exchange or get refund. An AirFryer is a wonderful invention... But it should work longer than 6 weeks.... I will update my review if they do refund or exchange. Update 7/17.... Because it's been 5 weeks since purchase, I have to send the unit back to GoWise. They will decide if I get a refund or they will fix it and send it back to me at my expense. Note that it's going to cost me $20 to send it to them. They have not offered to replace the unit. I can't stress it enough: buy the warranty! It's less than $6 for 3 years. That's better than mailing it back for $20! (Although I don't know if that's part of the warranty re free shipping...) Update: 7/29/17. I did return the unit to GoWise. The shipping was $23. They did deem the unit "defective" and they did mail me another one w/n 2 days of receiving mine. The unit is warrantied for a year, but you are responsible for shipping the unit TO them, therefore it is much more cost effective to buy the 2 year warranty from Amazon! Otherwise the unit is great (when it's working, of course :-) ....and when it works: 5 stars!
