I never thought I would say this...
Today, I stopped trusting Amazon.
My echo stopped responding out of nowhere and their only choice for me was to buy a new one.
I spent $180.
It's been 1 year and 25 days since I bought it.
Would you find that acceptable?
What would you expect from Amazon?
How long would you expect your $180 item (that nobody touches) to last you?
Because of those 25 days, my only choice is to buy a new one.
Oh, with a very generous $20 discount that I think they expected a "thank you" for.
Uhm... No.
I paid $179.99 for this echo.
$195 after taxes.
You would think:
1. Amazon would stand by their product quality.
2. Something that costs that much money and nobody touches would last more than 1 year.
The supervisor flat-out told me that they tried all the trouble shooting things they could do:
1. check if the charger worked
2. Press a button for 5 seconds
So, I got a "deffective Echo".
Those were his words. A "deffective echo"
He told me they sent me deffective merchandise and I still have to buy a new one?
Would that be an acceptable response from Amazon to you?
