I would give this product no starts because this is the second time something bad has happened. I've lost one of my lady gouldian finches this time due to hanging by it's neck out of the nest box hole with coconut fiber tightly tied and so strong the bird could not escape and that's so sad.and I'm so upset. I also had one I was able to cut lose from his wing and his leg so tangled with the coconut fiber. It was in the nest with babies, but was not leaving the nest and I could not reach or see in the box so did not know it was tangled until it eventually came out and I realized why it had not left the nest he was hanging and fluttering unable to free itself, all the babies also were dead. I tried my best and had to burst it off, as it was embedded into his leg and did not trust my eyes to cut it but I eventually got it off but it has not been the same it remains on the ground but alive. Please be warned that birds die from this product. I bought it previously and had no complaints. Try it at your risk, I would not recommend for finches.
