Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

Reasons not to download this app ever: 1) "Get information about the currently or recently running tasks: a thumbnail representation of the tasks, what activities are running in it, etc" RUN THIS IS NEVER ACCEPTABLE!!!! 2) It has an in game market *update is not in amazon version the permission is inherited from google play where the base is free* 3) "com.google.android.c2dm.permission.RECEIVE" This is actually needed for this app, My only problem with it is they are currently using it to try and hide issue number 1 by pushing people in here to up vote this app and blatantly calling the reviews on here fake... Seriously I am getting sick of the spyware apps and this is just another one there is never a good reason for an app to read what other apps you have except maybe if its a virus or malware scanner. 0/5 stars *update* I was contacted by the publisher of this app. They tried to explain why they did what they did with the permissions to me. They failed to convince me that ""Get information about the currently or recently running tasks: a thumbnail representation of the tasks, what activities are running in it, etc" was safe or needed (they said they needed it to stop crashes according to there developer I think he may have deceived them). As for the billing issue they addressed it semi well explaining it was leftover from the Google play version which was free base then buy updates. Where as this version you will never be billed again. As such I am updating to 2 stars as there is no in app market(if you play this and there is please contact me) As this app stands I still cant recommend you download it as "Get information about the currently or recently running tasks: a thumbnail representation of the tasks, what activities are running in it, etc" is a permission I will not recommend anyone accepts in an app that is not suppose to scan your computer IE: virus scanner. If in the future they remove that permission, I will gladly revisit this review and review accordingly. *update #2* Wow you can tell this developer cares about there products reviews. So much so they have started "pushing" people to this area telling them to review the product and fight the fake reviews ( I will assume that's why there are so many first time reviewers) ... This is a awkward response at best a malicious one at worst. I was really hoping they had just got bad advice from the developer and hadn't removed an unnecessary permission. I really wanted to like this company as they are a small company I was even feeling bad about my review as I thought I could understand where they might have gotten bad advice and left a very bad permission in there app. Well at least after this response I can feel better about myself as I am pretty sure my original review was spot on. Still gets 2/5 stars as there isn't an in game shop. But reason number 1 still applies. *please read* I honestly think this company is above board as they have been working with me trying but failing to address the issues I have with the permission I highlighted. I still don't think the risk is worth it, for a game free or otherwise as it can be used in very bad ways and is not needed to run an app IMHO. So I want everyone to understand that I am not personally going after the company as a bad company so much as the permission as a horrible permission that this app just happens to use thus making the app not safe in my opinion. While I believe they don't have bad intentions sometimes its better to be safe then sorry. In this case I am being both as I am sorry I had to write a bad review and I am still asking you to be safe and not download this app till the permission is removed.
